हिमाचल प्रदेश

For some reason, Blogspot again is transliterating my blog titles into Hindi. Anyway, I'm up in Himachal Pradesh, a gorgeous area in the Himalayas. I'm staying at a guesthouse in a little town called Naggar, which, centuries ago, served as the capital of the district.

Half a dozen Hindu temples dot the town of Naggar, and a castle juts from the mountain side overlooking the Beas River. I don't have Internet access at the guesthouse.

It's so cool up here - temperatures probably range from the 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit. I'll put photos up as soon as I return to Delhi - which is becoming more miserable by the second, I'm sure, as far as temperature and humidity.
